PipelineFX, Shotgun Software and Tweak Software Announce Global Roadshow to Showcase Integrated Product Line

Three companies announce 8-city world-wide tour

Los Angeles, CA – June 1, 2010 – Tweak Software, makers of RV, the next generation image and sequence viewer for VFX and animation artists, PipelineFX, makers of Qube!™ - the leading render farm management software for digital media creation, and Shotgun Software, makers of Shotgun, a customizable web-based project management and collaboration system, announced today an 8-city world tour showcasing their latest integrated products and discussing integrated pipelines with the community.

The three hour event format will include demonstrations of new versions of each product, show how they work together out of the box, and discuss future integration possibilities. The event will also include a moderated panel entitled "Pipeline War Stories and Lessons Learned." This panel of digital media pipeline veterans will share their experience in integrating infrastructure solutions and provide advice for studios attempting to modernize or improve their pipelines.

"Our clients are telling us they they would prefer to be investing in the parts of their pipeline that give them a competitive advantage instead of re-inventing common toolsets," said Don Parker, Co-Founder and CEO of Shotgun Software.  "Just like Tweak and PipelineFX, we have worked with many pipelines over the years and have begun to identify patterns and best practices for integrated tools that provide huge value.  This initial collaboration aims to deliver some of that value to our clients and jump start a discussion about where we should be headed next."

"Tweak, Shotgun and PipelineFX are part of a new generation of software companies who got their start working inside leading VFX and animation studios," said Seth Rosenthal, co-founder of Tweak Software. "We know how to create flexible tools for high-end production environments and we are making our software work together so that studios can focus on making pictures rather than on managing infrastructure."

"Render farm management, production management and media review/playback are all critical infrastructure requirements of digital media studios," said Richard Lewis, CEO of PipelineFX. "Although each system is built on open standards and provides the hooks for extensive customization, customers are asking for more integration and vendor collaboration. Having these three systems work together out of the box and provide immediate production benefit is a first in the industry. We are excited to share the latest technology across the globe on this tour."

The tour will start in Los Angeles on June 16th. Other stops include Vancouver, Toronto, New York, London, Mumbai, Singapore and Beijing. Event hosts include Rainmaker Entertainment, OffHollywood, and FrameStore. A complete tour schedule and RSVP form can be found linked from each of the company's homepages.
